We welcomed the New Year with cheese and crackers and turkey sausage and humus and apples and grapes and hard cider and juice, and we moved ahead with renovations. We rebuilt a header someone had built in the 60s, which supported nothing, really, and we finally pulled down a non-supporting wall that was in the way.

This stuff takes time, and doesn’t always happen when you plan it.
